Easter Egg For Easy Cooking Tip

Here is a small bit of cooking information that seems to rock peoples’ worlds when they find out about it. You ready?

You can cook an egg in a microwave.

I could barely remember the recipe for scrambled eggs — so much time would pass since the last time I did it — but when Regina showed me this for the first time, a whole new world of eggs opened up before my very eyes. Try this:

  1. Spray a small bowl with PAM non-stick spray
  2. Crack 1 egg in the bowl
  3. Cover with a microwave plate coverer — that’s the technical word
  4. Cook for 1 minute

From there you can slide it right out on toast, an English muffin, or whatever. Add bacon or ham.  I like ketchup on it. Or if you’re feeling really crazy, use 2 eggs. Enjoy!
