To Hutch or Not To Hutch

In getting a desk, does a hutch really add that much for what you pay — besides mass? It adds another shelf above the desk but I just don’t think I need that for the price. Am I missing something, would you get the hutch for an extra $130?

Me, well, I’m not a hutch kind of guy.

I have a two shelf bookcase on top of my desk. I don’t use the books I put in it that much if at all.

How much is the desk? Could you make the hutch?

The desk is $187.49 … the hutch is $127.49.

I wouldn’t try to replicate the hutch. As I consider how much I use the bookshelf at my desk at work, I am going to pass on it.

Thx for the input. Maybe I’ll put the $127.49 toward a new iPod.

Good point. What would you use more: a hutch or an iPod?
