Baby Steps In The Kitchen
Last night Regina and I made Apple Chicken Quesadillas (Regina prepared the chicken before I got home). They are easy to make and have simple ingredients. I think that is what intimidates me as I look at other recipes — there are too many not so common ingredients that only require 1/4th of a teaspoon of each. If I go buy them all, they would go bad before I would ever use them again.
Either way, it’s apple season in north Georgia, the kids liked ‘em (especially with sour cream), we liked ’em, and I’m sure you will too. Nothing says, “Autumn is here” like an apple quesadilla.

Cool! We’re heading to some apple groves this weekend to do some free apple pickin. We’ll give this recipe a try!
