Well I listened to the first few minutes of the Georgia game on the way to Sawnee Mountain Preserve on Saturday. After our 1.2 mile hike with the kids, I turned on the radio to check the score. It was 34-7 at the half. We then went home and took a nap so I didn’t see the end. After waking up, I checked the scores and saw that they didn’t “pull a Braves” so all was well.

Later that night, O’Ryan and I headed over to a DougE’s house to watch the Georgia Tech/Notre Dame game on the giant HDTV with friends. It was actually pretty interesting for the first half while Tech actually played football. But things got lame in the second half as they could barely get a single first down.

Something else that was confirmed in my mind is that Domino’s Pizza is of the devil. After eating Mellow Mushroom every week, and after experiencing the taste of San Vito’s pizza, Dominos just isn’t what it used to be — “mud pies” I tell ya. While there may have been some immediate gratification, I awoke in the early morn bowing to the porcelain god.

Disclaimer: It was the pizza. The only beverages available for consumption were bottled water and a 2 liter of Coca-Cola.
