BrandsMart USA Does Not Suck

So the night that the hardwoods were layed down (no stain or finish), the fridge started leaking. It really was a blessing that the installers delayed in getting us color samples because if we were on time then the floor would have been stained and we would have been out of the house when it started to leak.I know all the tile people are saying, “I told you so” but we caught it and it gives us a great excuse to get rid of the small ugly two-tone fridge that came with the house — unifying the color of the kitchen appliances. I went by to check up on things yesterday and the floors look great.I� compared prices� at Lowes, Home Depot, Sears, etc. but by far the best prices I found were at BrandsMart USA. If you are looking for anything electronic in nature, they have great prices — probably because they don’t spend any money on a website, fancy advertising or corporate image at all. If you can handle all the neon and noise, then making a trip down to� 285 and Peachtree Industrial� is definately worth it.Here’s an example of pricing for a Whirlpool fridge that I� am looking at:

    Be careful what you wish for, cheaper prices doesn’t always translate to a better product or experience. I went through the same process and purchased an HD TV, which was cheaper than the competitors. The TV was faulty when it was delivered and Brandsmart asked me not to contact the manufacturer and to wait for them to send me a replacement. I have been waiting for 18 months and have visited the store every month and called them every week. The excuses range from, we are out of stock, they have discontinued the model, and are waiting for a new version, we have changed general managers and most recently, corporate has taken over this problem and will not approve it. It was then suggested to me that they would not be bothered following up unless I take legal action. BEWARE of BRANDSMART, sure you might get cheaper prices, but it comes at a price! Yes, they do SUCK.

    I have since revised my opinion of BrandsMart. It also seems that they don’t care if you are using stolen credit cards to buy their stuff, as long as it gets bought.

    BestBuy sucks because of that too.

    This is the best store I have ever shopped in. Every product I wanted and people waited on me that actually knew something. The prices were GREAT!!!!

    We bought a fridge there and have not had any problems with it, The price was great, they helped us pick out the right one and didn’t push us to buy something more expensive than we needed, they delivered directly to the front door at the time promised, not only that, at the time they were supposed to deliver the item they were out of stock on the refrigerator that we have ordered, so they sent us a more expensive model with more features, we contacted them several times about this, they are not going to replace it for a cheaper one and they did NOT charge us extra for it, i think the one we got was like $100 more than the one we ordered, but still, like i said, they didn’t charge us extra for the new model and the delivery was the same and on time, im buying a PC next month and im going to brand smart again HA HA maybe they go out of stock again and give me something more expensive at no extra charge this time too :P

    Brands Mart Customer service sucks 19 days for someone to come out and fix a broken 10 month old sony tv. Never will I buy Or refer someone to them again.

    Brandsmart is the worst! sure everything thing is great if you get a product that has no problems but I bought a 42″ legand plasma after just 4 short months the mother board blew. Brandsmart sent someone out and I was supposed to get the replacement part within 10 days. Over a month later still no part and getting a compleat run around. I’ll never try to go the cheaper way around again you truley do get what you pay for! in this case I didn’t even get that I hardley call 1,000 for 4 months worth a bargin!

    I will never shop at Brandsmart again and I will activily seek to tell others not to as well!!!! I returned a defected product 2 days after purchase with reciepts. I attempted to be nice in dealing with the staff in vain. After 3 cust service reps told me the product wasnt defected and they were not going to give me my money back - I requested management and had to firmly demand my moneyat length.
    The staff at brandsmart all seem like rejected employees from the local flea market. They were the most ignorant ill manered people I have ever dealt with in person.
    The next day I kept checking for my refund to post. By mid afternoon when there was not even a pending transaction I called Brandsmart to double check on the process. The Customer service clerk told me “she didnt know probably like a day or 7 days” She then told me that I had called Customer Service. WHat — I asked for a manager and was disconnected.
    They may be cheaper on some items but you quickly realize the similarities of shopping in a third world market as well as the similarities with the idiots that work there.
    Do yourself a favor - go to Best Buy or anywhere that concerns themselves with the customer and their reputation.

    I advise against BestBuy too. They could care less about whether purchases are using stolen identities or not. When something does happen, their fraud department is full of empty promises.

    I recommend Circuit City. They are proactive and thorough.

    Brandsmart sucks so bad. I bought a washer and dryer right after Thanksgiving. We received the dryer on time but was told the the was the was her was on backorder. This was not told to me at at the time of purchase - the - items were “supposedly” in stock. After contacting a “manager ” he told me the washer would be in about a week . I scheduled a delevery. Of cource no call no show. When contacting the customer service department, I was eventually hung up on. I called b ack and spoke to a “MANAGER” in the appliance department named Roy. He told me that the washer would be in about 12/21 about a month after paying cash for both items. He told me could do nothing for me and he told me “IT IS A FREE COUNTRY AND IT IS AMERICA” and I could do whatever i want to do.

    He then told me that if I did not receive my item within 30 days of purchase I will get something comparable - I wold not hold my breath.

    This is the last of the money that this store will ever see from me.

    I despise Brandsmart as well and tell everyone I know to stay away. I was thrown out out of the Kennesaw, GA store for having the audacity of comparing thier prices to their competitors. I was simplywriting down prices and make/model info on HD TVs when a “manager” told me that I was “Shopping them” and that that’s not allowed. Applarantly other stores reserve the right to do that too but I’ve never encountered it.

    So, if you want an HDTV I would suggest Costco, and Lowes or HD for large applieances, especially keep an eye out for sales. Also, if you don’t mind any minor dings, I would suggest ApplianceSmart in Smyrna. But their prices are really not that much lower than Lowes or HD when they’re having a sale. I’ve experienced good service from HH Gregg, but I’ve never actually bought anything from them.

    Bottom line, stay away from Brndsmart at all costs!

    THEY SUCK!!! Try getting something replaced from them. Bought a microwave - Kitchenaid no less - it turns on by itself, it beeps, one problem after another. We even purchased extended warranty which they did honor by coming out 4 times to check and replace panel. Finally they gave up and said ok we’ll replace it - BUT NOT WITH A KITCHENAID!!!! We paid over $350 for an overhead microwave - they will give us nothing more than a $200 Whirlpool which doesn’t match our appliances and IS NOT what we selected, purchased and paid for in good faith!!! They’re attitude is - a, duh, sorry - company policy. Take it or leave it. Over the last 2 years while rennovating we have purchased all of our appliances, electronics and more strictly from Brandsmart in South Florida. NO MORE MONEY GOES TO BRANDSMART. THEY SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even if they have the best price - they do not back up their product or care about their customers.

    Purchased $6,000. Lct Sharp Aquos Tv in end of April, took it home didnt set it up until after returning from vacation, screen showed a thin vertical line on bottom left, didnt think anything of it since it was then our 3rd TV after prior returns, line multiplied, called warranty dept said that wasnt covered without even going out to see TV, called the store since salesperson assured my husband the tv would be covered for everything. Salesman reassured me again everything covered then after speaking with his manager and a lot of other so called management they bounced me off to contact the manufacturer Sharp., they asked for photos to be emailed, instantly responded back saying the $6,000. not covered. There is no exterior damage however they claim that some unknown source caused the interior Lcd damage and it is unfixable, they now want to sell me another $6,000. tv with a 10% discount !, the management or anyone from Brandsmart hasnt even bother calling to check on this or even offered refund of extended warranty that doesn cover item. BEWARE of brandsmart usa west palm beach store. We are out $6,000. and a Sharp Aquos TV, making payments on my Brandsmart credit card for an expensive disposible tv. Funny sales personnel tell you everything is covered, booklet even says all covered to quickly make the sale and get their commission but when something goes wrong everything changes. Craig Prescott, Gen Mangr has never bother returning phone calls, Robert Johnson, Dist Mangr never returns phone calls, Frank Serrano TV Dept mangr is very rude and passes the buck, Edie Bowe from Corporate office is full of BS she is a master of BS and loves passing the buck. Mr David Goldstein is the only person who actually listened and sent a tech out there again who took photos and sent to Sharp with notes stating no physical damage but again Sharp lacks immagination and stated tv not covered for cracked lct screen due to unknown physical damage. Hello people !!!! TV IS INTACT, there is not physical damage, tv could have been damaged by manufacturer when shipping the very heavy item and tightening the bolts or something internal. Why would we purchase a $6,000. Sharp Aquos LCD TV and this now being the 3rd TV from Brandsmart USA within 30 days since the previous cheaper ones were junk, were assured by the salesman that TV was fully covered only to find out 3 months later that we out out of luck, TV not covered so we are out a TV and out $6,000. We have purchased thousands of dollars there as well as highly recommend to everything and after this never stepping foot in the store again !!

    BRANDSMART SUCKS i bought a whole home audio and flat panel tv system from them. The tv went bad after 3 months and the audio system from them sucked too the speakers were blown and replaced 2 times. I was given the run arounds as well. There installers are third party and they damaged my walls. I am in an ongoing litagation with them now. The prices are not that great either. I went to Best Buy in Pembroke Pines not only did they know more about the products they also gave me their best price and offered me better financing. Hands down probably the best atmosphere to shop in also. And everything they say is true and written down on paper. The installers from their store are amazing too.
