Moving Thoughts

Not really. Just hanging in there, trying to shop around and get good prices on all the expenses of moving. I’m learning a lot in this whole process. Just praying and hoping everything goes well in all the transactions.

It’s strange how easily I now view our house as just an object that is being sold. Just last weekend I got new brown shoes and I feel like I have more attachment to my old brown shoes than the house that we’ve lived in for the past 8 years. They really are comfortable, who cares if the soles are cracking in half?! (The new ones are going back, they hurt my feet.)

I wonder if it will hit me once all the business of the task is over — once we get into the new house and slow down a bit. Even though I may wake up in my new bedroom and wonder where the heck I am for a few months, I hope to embrace the change and realize that this is the place our family is supposed to be. I pray that God will bless and use our desire to be good stewards of the resources He’s already blessed us with.
