We went down to St. Simons for a Spring get-away to the beach for a few days this past weekend. It was FREEZING! The highs were in the 60s with strong winds making the windchill seem like it was in the 40s. Needless to say we spent a lot of time enjoying the hot tubs. We did our usual thing - wake up, go out on the beach, eat lunch, nap, walk on beach, go to dinner, go to the Pier/Village, dessert, hot tub, and go to bed.

We hit all our usual dining spots but tried the early-bird special at the King & Prince Hotel. It was good but to be honest, the girls’ cheeseburger looked better than the Snapper dish that I tried. (One of my favorite meals is Sloppy Joes - High class, eh?) All in all, we had a great time, Camryn enjoyed the relaxing routine of it all and Maegan loved having access to the biggest sand box she’s ever seen.
