Regina has taken the kids to her mom’s tonight. She’s coming back tomorrow and we are going to the mountains with some friends - sans children this weekend. While they’re gone tonight I’m going to an all-you-can-eat “made to order” sushi place. I know, I know, you can rag me about my gluttony but I justify it as being better for ya than a ton of fried foods. It’s also made fresh, so it hasn’t been sitting around for an hour or however long.

Then after, there’s some big ABC Special called UFO’s - Seeing is Believing tonight. As my friend Eric pointed out, he’s sure Peter Jennings will be more objective on this topic than he was on “In Search Of The Real Jesus.”

I’m just betting that the special will be trumped by a local WSB-TV Monica Kaufman Oscar CloseUp. Grrrrr! They did that to me a few years ago with some Ghost Special around Halloween. I got all psyched up about seeing the new revealing video and then this big “WSB is proud to bring you our very own Monica Kaufman” announcement came on. I generally keep my expectations low as not to be disappointed but for some reason I was fully expecting to see that program.

We shall see what the weekend brings.
