In trying to come up with something interesting to say, I think I’m a bit talked out for now. I’ve talked a lot about general concepts & ideas, now it is time to try some real-world applications. Hopefully this will lead to more discussion about new concepts and ideas. I guess things go in cycles like that.

I have a theory about web design/marketing that I want to try out. Small businesses always want too much junk on their sites that doesn’t communicate so I want to try and market my web design using a different method. It’s the idea that you don’t have to sell your services (people either need them or they don’t). You just have to sell yourself as the one that can best do the work - for a reasonable rate. Most sites have an About Us and Services page - as if you need me to tell you what web design is or care about ego centered “fluff fluff” telling you who I am. You just want to know if I have the pudding to get the work done well.

All of this to say, in a few days I’ll be moving this blog to blog.guiroo.com and making www.guiroo.com a marketing site for my web design services. While we can talk about concepts and ideas all day long, they don’t really mean anything unless you get out there and move on them.
