Merry Christmas Everybody!

Just a quick note to say Merry Christmas everyone! This is one of the most relaxing Christmas Eves I’ve had in a while. Usually I’d be at church all day playing in the three services then come home to a ton of things to do before bedtime. This year we visited with Regina’s grand dad and then went to Fellowship Bible Church’s Christmas Eve service. I just got to sit back and soak the day up today. Her grand dad has alzheimer’s so we are cherishing every moment we get with him. He’s pretty gone but he still calls Camryn and Maegan his little angels. You can tell that they really make him happy when he sees them.

It was also good to see everyone at Fellowship. The service was a great transition from carols to a study of “Oh Come All Ye Faithful” to up-tempo worship of Jesus as the King and central theme of the entire Bible. There were a lot of people there that had left but came back to visit for Christmas. It was kinda like a homecoming reunion for me.

Well I’m going to watch Santa on the 11pm weather report (one of our secondary traditions) and go to bed. Nighty night!

P.S. We are going to spend a few days with Regina’s parents and possibly go to Gatlinburg for a few days so the blog might be dark for a while. See ya when we get back - Lord willing.
